Kimberly Martinez is an emerging mezzo-soprano based in the NJ/NY area. Looking back at the 2023/24 season, Kim was an alto chorister with Opera Delaware and Boheme Opera NJ. In April 2024, she sang the role of Lay Sister with Opera Magnifico in their production of Suor Angelica. Also with Opera Magnifico, Kim was the cover for Marcellina in their November 2023 production of Le Nozze di Figaro. Other recent opera roles include Clizia in L'arbore di Diana, Mother/Witch in Hansel and Gretel, and La Badessa & La Zia Principessa (cover) in Suor Angelica. She has a deep love for choral music and is currently on the Philadelphia Symphonic Choir's roster, which is the flagship choir of the Philadelphia Orchestra.

Kim is looking forward to the 2024/25 season. Her first engagement of the season is Verdi Requiem with the Philadelphia Orchestra under the baton of Riccardo Muti. In March 2025, Kim will return to Boheme Opera NJ for their production of Il Trovatore. She is currently the alto section leader at Union Congregational Church in Montclair, NJ, where she was featured as a soloist in their performance of Rutter's Magnificat this past December. Kim holds a Master of Music degree from New England Conservatory and a Bachelor of Music degree from Montclair State University.​
